Terms and Conditions of Participation

1. General conditions of participation

Participation in a telc exam is generally possible from the age of 18. Minors require the consent of their legal guardians. The written and oral exams take place on the premises of BBL Language School. The exact date and exam venue will be announced at least one week before the exam.

2. Exam fees and payment

The exam fee depends on the level:

• telc C1 Hochschule: 195 €
• telc B2: 185 €

After online registration you will receive a payment request by email. Registration is only considered binding once payment has been received. Any bank fees incurred are borne by the participant. Unused exams or missed appointments will not be refunded. One change to the participant data already entered is possible free of charge; further changes will be charged at an administrative fee of €50. BBL Language School reserves the right to cancel exams if the number of participants is too low.

3. Withdrawal

Withdrawal must be made in writing. If the cancellation is received no later than two weeks before the exam date, a processing fee of €50 will be retained. In the event of later withdrawal or non-attendance, there is no entitlement to a refund. Anyone who terminates the exam after it has begun likewise receives no refund.

4. Duties of participants

Participants are obliged to comply with all exam rules and the house rules of BBL Language School. A valid residence permit or other authorization to stay in Germany is required. In the event of misconduct or repeated non-attendance, the school management may order exclusion from the exam; there is no right to a refund.

5. Liability

BBL Language School assumes no liability for damages resulting from force majeure or circumstances beyond its control. Participants are liable for damages they cause through their own misconduct.

6. Data protection

By registering for the exam, participants consent to their personal data (name, address, date of birth, nationality, place of birth, etc.) being stored electronically and used exclusively for organizing the telc exam. There is no transfer to third parties.

7. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

German law applies.

The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of BBL Language School.
