Our Teachers
Christiane Brede
“The joy and enthusiasm I experience while teaching is something I am always happy to share with my students. After completing my teacher training degree in German and History, I worked for several years as a teacher at the Carl Duisberg Centres in Essen and Cologne. Since 1999, I have been preparing prospective students for the DSH examination at the University of Duisburg-Essen. I also teach Erasmus students.”
Sabine Lutz
“For me, teaching is not only about studying, studying and studying. It is also important to always listen to the problems and concerns of my students. I studied English and German to become a teacher and later completed an additional qualification in German as a Foreign Language. Since 1989, I have worked as a freelance language teacher at the University of Duisburg-Essen, teaching international winter and summer courses in cooperation with the DAAD, Socrates and Erasmus programmes. Until 2011, I also taught DSH preparation courses at the university.”
