Submit Your Application

Complete the online application form and upload the following documents: an HZB-equivalent school certificate, proof of German language proficiency (minimum B2), your passport and your CV.

Assessment / Interview

Depending on your chosen specialisation, you will complete either a written placement test or a personal interview. We will inform you of the exact procedure in advance.

Admission & Enrolment

After successfully completing the assessment, secure your admission, pay the course fee and complete the remaining enrolment documents.

Application Process

What You Need to Bring

School Certificate

An HZB-equivalent secondary school certificate from your home country if you do not have direct university entrance qualification in Germany.

German Language Proficiency (B2)

Proof through a recognised language certificate (e.g. telc, Goethe or a DSH preparation course) or by passing the BBL placement test.

Attendance Commitment

The Studienkolleg is a full-time programme. Regular attendance in classes and participation in all examinations are mandatory.

Residence Permit

A valid residence permit covering the entire Studienkolleg programme is required. We are happy to advise you on any visa-related questions.
